Hypocrites Love To Pray

  • Prayer is the most abused Christian attribute.

And when thou prays, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

God’s Messenger Boy

  • Satan is not God’s messenger boy. He takes advantages on misguided prayers

Praying Wrong

  • Prayer is not a religious callisthenic
  • Prayer is not to be used to soothe conscience or to impress
  • The heart attitude behind prayers interests God more than the content of the prayer
  • 1 Corinthians 13:1-31 Corinthians 13:1-3
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profits me nothing..
  • Ensure your prayer is motivated by love

God Already Moved

  • God has already done everything He’s ever going to do! He paid the price once and for all through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. Sins are already forgiven – past, present and future of believers and non-believers. It only needs to be received!

I Don’t Know

  • We recite scriptures and claim to believe what we read but in most cases, we really aren’t sure.

Receive What He’s Done

  • Prayer is not trying to twist God’s arm to make Him do something – it’s receiving what He has already done.
  • Christ already made full provision for the abundant life through His atonement. It’s now not up to Him to do, but us to receive what He’s done.

Heal The Sick!

  • Thinking God hasn’t healed us because we haven’t seen the manifestation is unbelief
  • Matthew 10:8Matthew 10:8
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

Heal the sick, [a]cleanse the lepers, [b]raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
  • Jesus didn’t ask us to pray for the sick, He said to heal them!
  • Healing was made available at the same time salvation was, on the cross

It’s Jackhammer Time!

  • By nature, Satan has legal rights to claim anyone. By the miracle of rebirth, Satan lost all that power.
  • You didn’t have to fast or pray, but you just believed and received what He already did
  • The question is not “Will God save you”?, it’s “Will you accept His salvation”?
