1I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Jesus + Anything = Nothing;                  Jesus + Nothing = Everything

By attempting to intercede the way Abraham and Moses did, we are undermining Jesus’s mediator role.

“What Have You Done With Jesus?”

  • When we arrive in Heave, God won’t ask about our sins, He’ll ask what we did with Jesus
  • No one will go to hell because of their sins, they will go to hell because they declined salvation Jesus made available

Ask, Seek, Knock

    1If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
  • God cares so much about us and treats us better than any man can.
